About Rhys

I was born and raised in Wyoming with hunting, fishing, and camping as a big part of our life. In 2008, I joined the United States Marine Corps. After two deployments to Helmond Province, Afghanistan, I was honorably discharged and my passion for hunting was rekindled. I spent a lot of time with a fellow Marine on his North Dakota farm and decided it was time for a hunting dog. After two seasons with my new dog, I realized my old bird hunting vest was not cutting it. There was nothing on the market that solved the problems I had. In 2017, I started designing prototypes with modular features I wanted in an upland hunting vest. After many iterations and much field use, we now build what we believe is the best lightweight, USA made, upland hunting gear available.

About Kitt

I was born and raised in Wyoming, but wanted to see the world and enjoy some warm weather. The United States Marine Corps was kind enough to offer me a college scholarship (along with an opportunity to enjoy Texas hospitality, courtesy of the Texas A&M Aggies). It then provided an additional 20 years of learning and working along side so many awesome Americans to attack challenges in any climb and place. In 2021, we were blessed to welcome a daughter, and a year later I retired. I am so thankful for the opportunity to continue learning how to enable the “idea guy” in our family to have the resources to solve problems. Its a dream to spend time with family in this new adventure developing gear that allows hunters to enjoy more time in the field!
